The cities we shall see are:
AMSTERDAM - DUSSELDORF - COLOGNE - BONN - RUDESHEIM - COBLENZ - TRIER - LUXEMBOURG -MAASTRICHT - THORN.
* We start in Amsterdam- or any other city in Holland or Belgium - drive to Dusseldorf, Germany. * Visit the Konigs Allee and have lunch in one of the many restaurants along the River Rhine - continue to Cologne - stay overnight. * Visit its beautiful gothic Cathedral, have dinner and stay overnight. * Continue to Bonn, visit Beethoven's house then continue along the scenic River Rhine famous for its castles and the Lorelei. * Have a Rhine Cruise of an hour, on the way to * Rudesheim - a very picturesque wine village. Stay over night. * Drive to the Moselle River - * Stop at Coblenz to see the confluence of the Rhine and the Moselle Rivers * Continue along the Moselle River - a very scenic view of the River meandering through the gorgeous vineyards, picturesque half-timbered houses which are so typical for Germany. * Continue to Trier, stopping at vineyards for wine tasting and savoury meals. * Visit Trier - the oldest Roman city in Germany - stay overnight. * Visit Luxembourg and its picturesque cities - also called the Switzerland of the North, overnight in Luxembourg. * Two days touring through the country, dining and wining, visiting cities and wine caves along the Moselle River. * Travel back to Holland by staying one or two nights in beautiful Maastricht, famous for their own wine and Burgondy food. Of course we will have a walk on their Ramparts, visit a quarry where Rembrandt's painting "The Night watch" was hidden during World War II. * On the way to Amsterdam we shall stop at "Thorn" the White Village, have a walking tour there and try some of the famous pastry's of Limburg called the "Limburgsevlaai" * We can add one night in the surroundings of Utrecht and visit the "Kroller Muller" Museum and its 92 van Gogh's Collection- situated in the largest Natural Park of the Netherlands. Have an exquisite meal and good wine after the visit. * Via a beautiful road along the River Vecht, known for it's castles and mansions you shall end your tour in Amsterdam.
